TROOPER KEVIN CONNER SCHOLARSHIP FUND


The Trooper Kevin Conner Scholarship Fund is in honor of Master Trooper Kevin Conner of the North Carolina Highway Patrol, who lost his life on October 17, 2018 during a traffic stop in Columbus County, North Carolina. 

Trooper Conner had served with the North Carolina Highway Patrol for 11 years and had previously served with the North Carolina Marine Patrol. He is survived by his wife and two children. In 2011 he saved a driver's life when he extinguished a fire in the man's car after being involved in an accident.

On October 19, 2019, the community will come together for a 5K and 1 Mile Run in memory of his life and dedication to protecting our community.
